Natural light is such an amazingly powerful thing. In a studio with flashes, we are in complete control of the light and we can make some different and often magical effects. But natural light is a different kind of light all together. Natural light casts shadows and makes highlightes like flashes never can. Look how the tree diffuses the light on my skin and the different effects, particularly in shadow patterns, depending where I stand. This set just basically evolved. I put the basque and my black heels on and wandere down the drive. We were not sure where we were gonna shoot but this spot seemed to work. The lying down naked shots by the wall are probably my favourite. The colours in the tree really help to bring out a very natural looking image. Drink your fill of me, on the Blossom Hill. Lycia xxx
