When it all comes together by chance - makeup, hair, tan, lights, colours, background, style, you can recognise the difference between a professional set of photos and the self-shot candid stuff that has become the mainstay of many OnlyFans and similar accounts. The industry has reached a stage now that models are closer to their fans than ever before. Platforms exist on apps on phones for fans to have instant consumption of regular content of their favourite girls. 15 years ago this would have been unthinkable. There were a handful of glamour websites like Only Tease, Body In Mind, Hayley's Secrets, APD Nudes, but the main outlet for glamour models was Page 3 and the Lads Mags. The models with the largest followings would be booked for the likes of Nuts and Zoo and Loaded and the shoots there were big affairs. Now with virtually no printed media everything co-exists in the digital world and this has allowed many models to take control of their own material in every aspect. Most middle men have been cut out. You do not need an agent these days and the only costs are the commissions taken by ManyVids and OnlyFans and the like. But I think some girls get a bit lazy and keep uploading a handful of snaps of them in the shower or doing yoga or lying on the beach and so on. This is good for the intimacy and personal touch but are creators putting in the effort to deliver something quality? Are they striving to make something special that is actually worth paying for and contributing towards, in the same way as fans would have bought the latest Zoo previously, when circulation was healthy and the much anticipated wet t shirt party shoot was in the mag, featuring your favourite Page 3 Girls. I always wanted my own website. I was never around in the glory days of the industry but when I got into glamour modelling I wanted to work with the best people who would show me off to my full potential and encourage and push me to work hard and stay on top of my game. I was lucky to shoot with the household names from the outset - I still do! I know I have had great opportunities and I am grateful. I am passionate about delivery quality images and vids. I want people to say "if you want to see the very best of Lycia then go to her official site" and that was my specification fot this project all along. Sets like this, shot by #GlamourTeaJames in a top hotel, make the effort and planning all worthwhile. I look back at these 'prestige' sets and I think they are real good quality classy stuff.
